DU Financial Aid: see Office of Financial Aid The university centrally processes all requests for financial aid for entering students. In order to apply for loans and departmental assistance, you must first complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). For complete instructions, follow the link above to DU's Office of Financial Aid. To receive priority consideration, it is important that you complete this process by the application deadline, so plan ahead.
The Department of Human Communication Studies works to decrease the financial demands of its admitted students. These come in the form of scholarships, assistantships, loans, work study and Colorado Grants (for Colorado residents). Several students are also selected each year to serve as research and teaching assistants for undergraduate communication courses. Assistants receive stipends and/or tuition waivers for their service. (Applicants for whom English is a second language must complete the TWE and TSE in order to be considered.) To apply for departmental assistance, complete the Supplemental
Financial Assistance form and submit it with your application for
admission by January 15. |
